Australia
The Australian Government has a ‘Diversity Works’ policy which is one of three strands of its 2003 Multicultural Policy Statement
‘Multicultural Australia: United in Diversity.’ Two other aspects of the policy are Community Harmony and Access and Equity. “Diversity Works is about utilising the language and cultural diversity of Australia’s workforce and population for the economic benefit of all Australians.” The government uses this policy statement as its working definition on what diversity means to it.
