KEY Project
This Development Partnership will operate in the Derry and Strabane Council areas which have high levels of deprivation and unemployment.
The project has three main objectives:
- Assist integration into employment for those that are hard to employ;
- Enhance the progression of individuals who are in low paid employment but lack the necessary skills to help them integrate and develop their potential; and
- Engage employers, who have the capacity to offer employment
The objectives will be achieved by organising a series of three week intensive training programmes facilitated within the various participating community organisations.
Additionally the project will work with employers to assist them with identifying skill shortages into which the unemployed and those in low paid employment may progress.
